What do you mean window.location.host includes the subdomain?!?
I once was not so suck at javascript!
But with much cussing, I've gotten lj instant tag to work on other lj clones. It's quite a nice script and much handier than lj's default method of allowing tagging, IMHO, so here it is with my changes
Copy/paste into a text file, save as "instant_tag.js" with quotes, and open in your browser to install with greasemonkey.
May still be buggy, let me know, and I can try to fix, if so.
Whimsical and uninformative title here
I know I haven't given you an option for "do you? I never noticed," so you'll JUST HAVE TO COMMENT, WON'T YOU? if that's your response.
Poll #305 0 and 1 are your only options!
Open to: All, results viewable to: All Betty's habit of dropping her 'g's typographically: Betty's habit of referring to herself in the third person: Betty's habit of poll spamming: Kittens: Also: do your part for fandom in the diaspora! Check out your lj's rss settings at journalname.livejournal.com/data/atom. If it's set to only show the subject heading, consider going to the admin console and changing your settings using "set synlevel level" and for level, substitute either "summary" (first paragraph, so not really a summary) or "full" (like it sounds.) This might be especially helpful if you, like so many, title your entries whimsically. Contrariwise, if you own a comm, consider setting it using " commname set synlevel level" and for level, substitute either "title" or "summary," especially if your comm updates a lot. People have found that ljclones won't accept a syndicated feed where the first 25 posts have a content greater than 300kb.
Does the word Python scare you?
If so, you may want to skip this post, but for others, there is a beta version of a tool that in addition to migrating journals will migrate communities (with some degree of fidelity) from one journaling service to another, here, by antennapedia.
