If you aren't aware of Ursula Vernon, you are a sad, sad panda, and you don't even know it, but here: St. Ungo the Well Endowed. (Totally SFW)
Totally the most awesome wonder-woman costume I have ever seen, also the most awesome one I have ever worn parts of next to my boobs: victorian wonder woman. Tragically, the picture shown does not depict the boots and bracers. Actually caused a boy to forget how to talk, and I am being literal-- I was talking to him, and then he lost his English.
Also, I had forgotten to mention one of my favourite panels from WisCon, Not Enough Octopuses, on why so many alien races tend to have bilateral symmetry and be bipedal, and what are the other options? Panelists were (going by my program) Mia Molvray, Doselle Young, Tom La Farge, and Ruthanna Emrys. (Kphoebe, Revena, is that the guy who is your brain-crush?)
It did include the dreaded "I don't know why I am on this panel," but I am inclined to declare Doselle an exception to this rule, since he's one of those people who will automatically make any dinner party a success. Lots of audience participation, and I had a great time, although there may be panel write-ups which say "would have been a good panel if only that one chick in the audience could have talked less. Did she think she was on the panel or something?" (if so, linkpls? Or any write-ups of it at all?)
Uh. Also I think there might have been an also, but I forget it. OH RIGHT.
I have been rewatching Firefily for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, and I need to squee a bit.
When Zoe says "my men." When she says, "I'm sorry, you were going to ask me to choose, right. Didja want to finish?" Goddamn I love that woman. (Shut up, the thing in the movie didn't happen for the purposes of squee)
Zoe's arms, in Serenity. Did she bulk up for the movie, or was she always so ripped?
Zoe, in Out of Gas: "There's just something about him that bothers me."
Zoe.
Simon's pissiness. He just can't help making under-his-breath sarcastic comments, even though it's not terribly smart to anger the man-ape.
Inara in Heart of Gold, "Well, they've got guns."
Kaylee: "That's my girl."
When Jayne totally knows everything about hypoxia. He may be dumb, but he's not stupid: they're in space. Also, "ooh, enclosed!"
Simon and Mal's propensity for manhandling each other. Oh, you guys.
