Okay, so, this is my very sketchy memory of instances of racialized violence in SPN, and I skipped half of season three because the misogyny was starting to get to me. I'll take corrections and suggestions from the comments.

cereta just posted on her disappointment with the charterization of Dean in this season of Supernatural, which led me to this series of posts by trollprincess tracking gendered insults across season one, two, and three. Her conclusion:

Maybe they were making up for the shortened season?

Since I pretty much gave up watching SPN sometime in November, I can't confirm any of this, but it seems pretty well documented and I really can't doubt it.

So, I've definitely broken up with Supernatural, instead of repeatedly threatening to do it and then instead having awesome post-argument sex. I can tell I've broken up because I'm not avoiding spoilers anymore. Anywho, since I no longer have to worry about being fair and mature, and responsible in this relationship, are there any episodes I should watch, totally out of continuity since the last one I saw was, uh, Blood something, and only the first half, before I got interrupted and forgot to finish it (also a sign) but the one with ( cut in case you're still avoiding spoilers, but seriously, its from a couple months ago )

So: any after that one that aren't going to give me owies from the racism or the misogyny or facepalm from the lame? I know, I'm very demanding.

Supernatural:

So, I'm currently watching Supernatural, because I guess I just can't break up with it, but we're sort of in a sleeping on the couch trial-phase, so I'm watching 3.06 which is as far as I've gotten. And at the moment I'm watching the young lady who I guess is going to be the VotW wash her hair... or a guess she's washing her hair-- she's in the shower, and there's suds, but she seems to be... petting her hair? Arranging it artistically while making the O face? Come on, show, there are a lot of people out there with long hair who occasionally wash it, and most of can guess what we look like. Some of us may even have watched some one else do it.

Goodwin's feats of engineering have become gradually more visible over the past year. Last summer, Imperium Renewables contacted MTV's show Pimp My Ride about creating an Earth Day special in which Goodwin would convert a muscle car to run on biodiesel. "The Impala blew the Lamborghini away," says Kevin Kluemper, the lead calibration engineer for GM's Allison transmission unit, who'd flown down to help with the conversion.
